LIU Pharmaceutical Science Research

Located in vibrant Brooklyn, New York, the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (LIU Pharmacy) is dedicated to training researchers who contribute to the fields of drug discovery, development and delivery. In addition, investigation of the molecular pharmacology of different disease states is undertaken. Our aim is to provide a better understanding of underlying mechanisms that cause diseases, and to improve treatment responses.

Faculty Research Interests

LIU Pharmacy’s full-time faculty members are leading educators and active scholars who are experts in various fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Cancer Research, Cosmetics, Social Administrative Sciences, and Drug Regulatory Affairs.

Research Administration

The mission of the Office of Research and Graduate Studies is to engage the research talents of faculty and students, promote high quality research and scholarship, and considerably contribute to the research output of LIU Pharmacy. The office is committed to faculty and student research engagement and provides resources to support research development and expansion.
